FOR KINDERGARTENERS: I do the basic powerpoint presentation, but less emphasis on the writing process.  I answer and ask questions to keep the students involved.  However,  a more interactive, play-based workshop is available through my friend, Molly Hall, a children's drama teacher, who takes the students on a magical journey by experimenting with sounds and acting out the story.  For details contact: mollyjhall@gmail.com

I’ve developed a program of activities for first through third grades (and one for fourth/fifth) to go with my book--a throw-back to my 25 years of making lesson plans.  My hope is that these activities inspire kids to do their own writing and illustration.  The classes last year enjoyed them.
